All ABOUT FOOD.
I always think that Malaysia is one of the "IT" place in the world when it comes to food.
But I've changed my mind about that after my trips to Melb.
You want Vietnam Food?
They have Mekong ( I didn't get to try tho =( ), which is a supposedly famous restaurant.
So nice even Bill Clinton had two bowls of rice there.
You want Thai?
You want Chinese?
You want Japanese?
You want Malaysian?
They have it all.
It's much more authentic compare to Malaysia because for eg. our Japanese sushi is made by well..Malaysian.
Whereas the sushi there is truly made by Japanese.
The same applies to others.
Fruits and vegetables.
Yellow Kiwi.
This thing is so freaking sweet and refreshing. Yes, it's sweet compare to our green kiwi which is sour.
I had sooooo many of these when I was there.
The oh-so-huge watermelon.
Don't let the picture fool you. Those watermelons are HUMONGOUS.
Check 'em out!
Oranges.
I don't know why they look so tiny in the pictures. They are much bigger when I see them.
The biggest cabbage I've ever seen.
Err...I don't what you call this. Oops. But they are pink! The ones here are usually yellow.
Mangoes.
They look cute and small don't they?
The never ending celery.
I didn't know avocado is so yummy.
Seafood.
Let me introduce you to a new kind of seafood.
You might be wondering... What are these?
They have lobster's colour..but they look like crabs... Hmmm...
They are.....
Spanner!
Well..at least that's what they call them.
They are apparently a combination of lobster + crab.
Live abalone.
Dead Lobster.
The real deal.
When we were in Sydney, we can't help but try out this Japanese restaurant.
Whenever we pass by it, the queue outside the restaurant is just amusing.
Then only we know why.
The seafood udon that I had.
It's so freaking tasty okay.
The seafood ( crab, prawn, clams.....) is sooo fresh.
Thus it explains the sweet seafood soup.
Ze sake.
I wasn't kidding when I said it's crowded.
Last but not least..
Green tea ice cream
Coffee.
Australia has a very extensive history of drinking coffee.
In Malaysia, Gloria Jean's is not so popular compare to Starsucks..I mean Starbucks.
However, in Aussie, is the other way round.
Ze flat white's foam that resembles a love shape.
From a cafe in The Strand, Sydney.
Ze cappuccino.
Till next time!
ps: This post is making me hungry wtf.
