Leave

As I watch her slowly walk towards the gates..

I feel that the sight of her is gradually turning dim and cloudy.
My heart felt an involuntary jolt of wretchedness.
So sudden I was practically unprepared for it.

What I thought I had in control is finally letting loose. But I am determine to conceal it all away.

We hugged and said goodbye.

But deep inside my heart I knew I was expecting something.
What is it I keep asking myself.

Isn't this better?
Maybe more words?
Those that people often say when they are leaving?
Or was it more tears?
As it seems almost natural for this kind of occasion?

I look down at the steaming hot cup of coffee that I have been grasping.
Funny I almost did not feel its existence. Only momentarily.

I took a long sip, warily, cautious to not let it burn my tongue.
It instantly warm up the pathway from my throat down to my stomach.
And it feels nice.
I hadn't even realise that I had been shivering, not from the cold, but from something unfathomable.

I tried to concentrate hard on the cup of coffee, just so I don't have to look at her step by step getting more and more distant from where she first had been.
The sight of her walking away, her size seems to be getting smaller and smaller, as he stood beside me watching her.

I let my mind wandered for a little while.
I wandered what was he thinking?
Had he already missed her?

He transfix his eyes on her, making sure she walk through those gates, only then allowing his eyes to look away.
Even that, it looks reluctant.

I thought I would have felt better than this.
But why am I not?

The Hostage

A while ago, we were given our last multimedia assignment to shoot a minimum 10 mins long movie.

So, my team mates and I all worked extremely hard for this.
We sweat through our shirt in the hot car park basement, under the hot sun in the afternoon, and er..my house.

Everyone had been cooperative and shooting the movie was actually a pleasant experience.

We had helped from two of our seniors, zahir and wai hoong.
Without their help, this movie would not turn out the way it is now.

Although the editing was tedious, but the results were satisfactory.
We only used Windows Movie Maker okay.
ONLY MOVIE MAKER.

And that software is super wtf, super lag and it will crash whenever it wants.
It took me 10000000 attempts to finally publish the movie.

So anyway... despite of all the challenges we faced ( LOL..this is soooo corny), the movie turned out great!
Let me boast a bit first, we got the highest in our class!
=)

Okay..here's a little bit of inside of what is The Hostage about.

Cd Cover

Cd Inlay

Back Cover

Daryl as Detective M
Detective M is a smart yet money-minded person, thus the name M stands for Money.
All he really cares about is the money but he was smart enough to figure out the case in the end.

Jaclyn ( Me!) as Lauren
Lauren is a 16 year old, spoiled and rebellious child. She lost her mom at a young age and she only lives with her barely-free-dad and her butler. She might look tough but deep down all she wants is her dad to love her more and pay her more attention.
The name Lauren comes from Lauren Conrad btw. I'm addicted to The Hills!!!

Khuan Yew as Mr.Thomas aka the dad
Mr.Thomas is a rich and sucessful businessman. However, all he cares about is making a lot of money and often neglect her only daughter. He's always away for business trips and doesn't spend much time with her. He's thinks that his daughter always cause him a lot trouble but do not understand the true reason behind it.

Jit Hua as The Kidnapper
The kidnapper well..kidnaps Lauren. His identity remained as a mystery throughout the whole movie until the end when his face is finally revealed. He, like Detective M is an extremely money-minded person too.

Zahir as Mr.Oliver aka the butler
Mr.Oliver is the family butler who works hard and at the same time doubles as Lauren's best friend. He consoles Lauren whenever Lauren is upset with her father. He decided to help Lauren and thus, this whole kidnapping thing kick starts partly due to him.

Joanne as Joanne aka Lauren's best friend
Joanne is the one who provided one of the key information in breaking this case. Because of her, Detective M is able to solve part of the mystery.

So without further delay...
Jeng Jeng Jeng...

It's finally OVER!

YES!!!

I'm head over heels..over the moon... stretching my wings towards unlimited blue sky of freedom! I HAVE FINALLY GRADUATED FROM FOUNDATION YEAR!!!!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.............

I'm soooo happy now I think it's illegal.
LOL.

We had our last papers today...moral and algo.
Ugh.
Speaking of algo, it makes me tick.

Anyway, we went to the movies after the final paper and the guys wanted to watch guess what..yes...you got it right.

QUANTUM OF SOLACE.

So predictable right.

I know.

I didn't wanna watch the movie at all because I heard many bad reviews about it and I'm just not interested in it.
Plus..daniel craig is ugly.

They didn't wanna watch HSM3.
Claiming that is gay.
=.=

As predicted...the movie sucked.
Big time.

It was soooooo boring I wanted to sleep okay.

Like it's a total waste of time and money ( thank god is wednesday).

Ratings? 2/10.

Here's some pictures of our visit to MOL.

The last day.

Today is officially the last day of my foundation year before the finals.

We went to MOL ( it's money online) in time square for our visit.
It's an e-biz assignment btw.

Gotta say i was very impressed with the company especially with the CEO and founder of MOL.
He has great sense of humour and when he talks he just makes you wanna listen to him.

And not to forget, he is only 29.
29 and already a CEO and the founder of a up becoming company.
Pretty impressive huh.

He was in the Malaysian book of records too.
For being the youngest CEO in Malaysia.

Btw if you're thinking what the hell is mol, you might have seen it zillion of times but did not realise that you're using it.
Especially if you're a gamer.

Anyways..i would say the visit today is a great way to wrap up the course!
=)

ps: Everyone should just drop out of universities!
We should look up to people like Bill Gates..Steve Jobs..and Mr. Ganesh (the CEO and founder of mol)!
